What is a credit?

A credit is the consumption unit for CallOnAlarm services. Credits are progressively consumed at a rate of 2 per phone call and 2 for every 10 technical follow-up emails sent. All other services (custom mapping, call prefixes and messages) are included in your plan based on your subscription tier.

Is my device or system compatible?

If your device supports the SIA DC-09 protocol, it should work seamlessly. Our documentation provides integration guides for systems wanting to become compatible, either via SIA over TCP or our API over HTTPS. Check our documentation for detailed setup instructions.

What if nobody answers?

You can add an unlimited number of contacts to a connection, and even add the same contact multiple times in the alert sequence. If despite this nobody responds, the procedure stops. All alerts are logged and accessible in your client dashboard. Please note that CallOnAlarm does not replace a professional monitoring company – our role is limited to the alert procedure via phone calls and/or technical emails.

Can I mix different plans?

Absolutely! You can have unlimited connections with any mix of plans. For example: 50 Starter, 30 Pro, 10 Business and 5 Custom – adapt each connection to your or your client's needs.

Is there a limit on connections?

No limit! Whether you need 1 or 1,000 connections, you can add as many as you want. Each connection is billed separately based on its plan. Volume discounts are available.

Do credits expire?

Credits are valid for your entire annual subscription period. At each renewal, your credit balance is refreshed with your plan's full allocation. You can also top up your plan at any time if needed.
